Maisie operates The Sensory Pantry from her home in Upper Hutt whilst being a stay at home mum to her little boy Archie. Archie’s love for sensory play is what prompted her to create colourful and engaging mixes that kept her little man busy. She began throwing themed sensory parties for Archie and his friends and quickly realised this would make a great business idea. Selling pre-made kits allow Maisie to gift the joy of sensory play whilst still caring for her boy full time.

Angela is a New Zealand resin artist from Upper Hutt who turns small details into soft, beautiful keepsakes. A Heart Fully Known

My name is Miliana Tovey-Raruve and I am a Polymer clay and Resin artist, and I create a myriad of colourful things. What started as a dream to encourage people (especially women) has turned into a small business with the same vision. On my shelf you will find all manner of things, from Jewellery (like earrings, bracelets, and necklaces), to polaroid surfboard stands, and paua jewellery trays/painting pallets). My new edition Allsort earrings were created to raise refunds for Relay for life. 50% from each purchase of Allsort earrings will go towards funding cancer research.

Blue Lumen Prints

CJ Piercey is a Lower Hutt-based cyanotype artist exploring the process of image-making through botanicals, hand-cut stencils, and self-made film negatives. Drawn to the experimental nature of cyanotype printing, CJ began creating prints as a way to combine photography, natural forms, and handmade techniques into one practice. Their work embraces the unpredictability of sunlight and chemistry, with each print developing its own unique character through layering, exposure, and process.

Lady D and Friends

We are friends who live in Upper Hutt and love to sew. A few years ago we discovered vinyl bags and we helped each other learn how to make them.

We quickly got a stock pile of them and decided let’s share them with the world! We hope you enjoy using them as much as we do making them.

Hi, I’m Rebecca, a lifelong Upper Hutt local and proud mum to three beautiful daughters. I first began crocheting as a way to help fundraise for my eldest daughter’s overseas dance trip, but along the way I discovered a love for creating handmade pieces. What started as a fundraiser quickly became a creative passion, and I’ve been happily crocheting ever since.
